Hamvention is coming up before you know it! I have this RF-350K with the optional teletype filters and ASFK card along with a 500 watt amplifier that I bought from my friend estate (KD2GFM) and it's been in storage for a while and just pulled it into the shop. It also has the correct power cables for the amplifier and radio along with a Harris microphone. Having worked on 350 before I am not going to power this up until after disassembly and cleaning. Quick look confirms everything is there but I know after sitting a while and the history of exploding tantalum in that family of radios that’s always what I would do.

Figure I would be selling it for $1,500 after cleaning and testing. I charge $50 an hour for labor and it will take a good five or six hours to clean and test everything so will offer the entire lot for $1,250 as is.

This is a couple hundred pounds of radio if you want it, and I have no desire to do shipping. In the past the couple of 350K that I have sold did delivery for an additional cost.

It also comes with a complete set of documentation on a CD that I will provide.

Another option may be delivery out to Hamvention in May.

I have talked with Ken several times on this very radio but know from experience that they do not like to sit around not being used and after first power up that’s when the capacitors tend to blow!

May start work on this in the next week or so and if that’s the case the reduced price may not be an option.
