I have a BC-721 which is the glider version of the BC-611. It has an 8 pin Jones socket on the side of bottom swing door. I think the bottom cover is deeper than on the BC-611. In original use, the socket provides the interconnections to the glider via the mount.

I've never seen a BC-721 mount, but I've put that socket to good use to feed A and B power in from an external pack of batteries.
