We’re going with Transmitters  BC-656 and BC-459 and receivers BC-454, BC-455 and BC-946. VHF comms would have to be done on a modern VHF set.  I have a BC-453 receiver available, but the BC-964 would be better to have onboard if a navigational receiver is actually needed,since many navigational beacons are no longer in operation. If the actual location of a commercial broadcast antenna is known, it performs the same function of a navigational beacon.
