No love today, some gas bags on 7295 so did not try AM there, 7296 was out due to the AM stations and both 5357 and 7260 were a bust, did check into ACARS down on 7255 so I did get to talk on the radio today. Was a good opportunity to test a KWM2A that was on the bench. Somehow have done a batch of these Collins things in the last couple weeks, the current victim is a really old unit with wing emblem and soldered in relays. Thought all military 2A series had plug in relays? almost every KWM2A I have seen has the meatball emblem and plug in relays. that along with Teflon wiring was always the difference between the "Ham" KWM2 and the Military KWM2A or so i thought.
