Good points, Mark.  But I have successfully used a PRT-4/PRR-9 for 51.0 MHz at Hamvention in the past, so I have hopes. 

The other radios of 1950-1970s are all too big/heavy to go in my suitcase for air travel.  I've got to leave room for at least a few hamfest purchases on the return trip!
