That’s all GRC-19 FSK stuff, although it’s a subject of great debate there is a world of difference between all that old nineteen fifties FSK stuff and all of the AFSK stuff that came out afterwards. Normal/Reverse weird calculations of what the center frequency is or if that’s a valid term in primitive RATT communications because its not like modern digital where you have a center frequency but more along the line of mark is on one frequency and space on another where unlike modern digital the carrier never rest on a center frequency. Long story short you don’t see a lot of those “Old School” FSK guys taking part in today’s nets. Who knows, perhaps I am wrong and somewhere there is a whole community of people running GRC-26 shelters and GRC-19 sets?

That’s why it was good to see K9WT up on the net this morning, I figure that if anyone can master the art of netting with a modern AFSK/SSB RATT net with arcane FSK transmitters he can.
