We have expanded the 60-meter net! The hope is that this will encourage people back home to take part also. Will have the M-151A1 set up at Beltsville Lake as NCS running a GRC-106 so that will be capable of working the “Backpack” stations and those in the region. Also, an opportunity for the backpack stations to do some long-range communications from the field.

NCS will be on 51.0 FM the entire time. We will be sending tone but receiving carrier squelch, least I think I can do that on a RT-524, if not will run open squelch at NCS.

What do people think about 144.25 AM? Have a URC-110 that I was keeping on 146.52 FM as a backup to 51.0 but do we want to QSY to 144.25 (AM) and see if there is any interest in operating there?

If not, there is always opportunity to do an Ad Hoc pack nets back at the Howell building.
