Hi Nick - Thanks for the report. We ran the 7087/850 RATT net in CA this morning at 1630Z but only two of us checking in. (Summer doldrums!) I was also up on RATT/RTTY for field day with the PRC-174 portable setup too, but no joy. I did not hear any 170/RTTY on 40 meters all day... (Just computers auto-texting "599" Broadcasts QRM-ing the CW segments). A few Field Day setup pix here:Cheers, TimN6CCNNNNOn Sat, Jul 8, 2023 at 10:32 AM Nick K4NYW <[email protected]> wrote:The 40m RATT net was fun today - 8 check-ins and mostly good copy.On Sat, Jul 8, 2023 at 12:10 PM W2HX <[email protected]> wrote:Very little luck today. 60 meters was 100% dead at my QTH. 40m dead too. I hear the aurora borealis is coming south in the coming days. Maybe all related

Thought I would just take a second and rattle everyone’s cage about the MMRCG 7296 USB net tomorrow, Not been a lot of people participating lately so thought I would try to generate some interest.

Also the 7087 RTTY net has been doing well with an average of at least five stations every morning, remember that its 850 Hz 60 wpm.

MRCA M&S net on 5357 USB will be at noon, unfortunately for the last several months have had issues with local interference and week copy but will give it a try again.
