The BC-659 is a WW2 era US Army , 2 channel, crystal controlled FM set that operates on 10 meters. Strictly phone: there is no CW capability or SSB. It is also not capable of operating using repeaters. I don’t know if your set is compatible. If it is, as long as the MRCA doesn’t have a problem with your Arden PCS2800, I don’t. My BC-659 operates on 29.6 MHz ( 10 meter Simplex ) and 29.1 MHZ.

Subject: [MRCA] 10 meters at Gilbert?
Are there any plans to run a 10 meter net at Gilbert this year? I have a
BC-659 set up for 29.6 MHz and 29.1 MHz that I could bring and operate.
