Reading the “Tropicalizing” article in the August 1945 issue, confirmed something I ran across regarding the MFP varnish used in Military radios.
That is the fact that these varnishes contain Mercury products, and that one should be cognizant of this when working with; or in particular when heating connections that are varnished; probably not a super worry, but if one works on a lot of these units it might be worth it to take a few precautions.

Much of the coverage focuses on radar, but there is a pretty fair amount on communications equipment and topics. Plenty of interesting reading and info.
The combined index is just the individual volume indexes in order, so when you find a topic, check which volume index you are in. And search to the end of the combined index because articles of interest may be scattered in different volumes.
