Usually crowing about the Hamvention but this time wanted to say something about Fair Radio. Anyone else planning on a trip up to Lima before the Hamvention? Have a tradition of going to Fair Radio the day before the Hamvention (Thursday)  and blew that off last year and regretted it all year so this year will be there on Thursday. I have been told that some of the “Hard Core” people like Nick are there on Wednesday and at the Hamvention site all day Thursday.

Anyone else want to check in on this?

Going to Fair Radio is just like going to the Hamvention, if you have not been there you don’t know what you’re missing. IMO Fair Radio may be the only thing that has a longer lineage in the milsurplus world then the Hamvention.
