All the Iowa class BBs were updated into the 80s and 90s.  

For classic WWII radio rooms look at Massachusetts and North Carolina that never got updated like the Iowas.

New Jersey has done a great job with their more modern setup.

Concur that the Missouri setup is not the greatest. That said, no idea what the volunteers had to work with. Locally, the Baltimore- based John W. Brown has the original radio setup. The ham gear (was) in a side room. Visitors can sort of see the original equipment, RCA 4U series. It was working about 6-7 years ago when I volunteered.
