Most radio positions used an "all caps" typewriter, either the full size mill or a smaller version. I had a full size a while back. I think someone, maybe the office equip. repair business that overhauled mine, called it a "post office" typewriter....

Was there anything special about these typewriters used in the radio rooms of ships and planes and in the field? Who made them for the military? I can't read the name. I'd like to find one for my B-29 setup.
