Field Opps for Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th

This weekend will be the annual Washington Blue & Gray Military Vehicle Collectors Show at the Hagerstown airport, the show that was once held at Aberdeen and is still referred to by that name.

I will have the mutt on site Friday and Saturday and have radios available for any frequency or mode from 2 to 148 MHz

At this time am planning on the following QSO:

Friday:

1700 local (1300 GMT) going to try a cross country contact to West Coast Military Collectors group at there annual event on 18.14/.15 USB

Propagation on seventeen been good in the afternoon so will see if this has a chance. Couple years back from the same location worked a “Parks on the Air” station in California with no issues.

Saturday:

0900 local, MMRCG 7.087 RTTY Net, 850 Hz shift at 60 wpm.

1000 local, MMRCG 7295 AM Net, first of the month favors AM with the rest being USB on 7296 I will be using the GRC-106 in the AME mode, that’s USB plus carrier.

1200 local, MRCA M&S Net 5357 USB, channel 3 Work it before it goes away!

In addition to this will also be monitoring 51.0 whenever I am in the mutt.
