I’m a retired USMC Communications Chief and a ham W1ZFB.  I work now for the Sheriff’s Office here in Spotsylvania County Va. near Fredericksburg.

I am putting together for the second year in a row a special event for Veterans day.  This is tribute both active duty and retired military folks in our community as well those who serve as first responders in the community. This year it will be on 4 November.  We had a big turn out last year for the event.

This year I’m asking my Ham club to see if there would be any interest in setting up a special event station at the event. I’m going to apply for special event call sign and I have some vintage military gear that I’m going bring ART-13 fully restored less dynamoter and a BC-348 Q. I also have some other gear to bring for a display.

My question to you is, I would like to setup a schedule with a some military stations like a ship or other military installations even maybe cross band HF. Who would I best contact for doing something like that?
