Cool, the password issue is now resolved thanks to the groups help. When I went home for lunch today had a couple minutes to try things out and unlocked the protect settings and did a couple presets and manual frequencies and modes. Did
not think I would like the display but now having used it find the stenciled LCD is more fun than the display on the 5020
The new ten pin jumper worked out good with its new connectors and Kevlar jacket. Used red and black wires for the +24 and ground connections along with a green wire for the power control and a length of Belden two pair shielded for the
communications bus, RS-232 and ALC, with the Black Kevlar jacket have to say it looks pretty fly.
Discovered that the “Falcon Series Tactical Communications System” manual is not only good for a workout of the arms and eyes but in the back of the manual there is a plastic binder that has the disk for the remote-control software and
an envelope that’s labeled System Password and Support, too bad I did not see that sooner but like most of us the last thing done is looking at the manuals.
