Anybody ever try running a forty to fifty foot end fed using open wire feeder? Wonder how that would work with both the transmitter and the BC-348 receiver?

I use a setting of 8 for 75 meters. The loading control (to the left side) has no genuine effect. I also use about 850pf of external loading. At 1250v B+, I read 120 watts into 50 ohms.  Other p.s. voltages are 400v and 27.5v.
