For anyone that is interested the BBC made a series called warship that ran for 47 episodes. It’s kind of a drama but it’s pretty accurate when it comes to Navy life. It ran from 1973 to 77. I have attached the YouTube link to a fellow that posted all 47 hour long episodes.
