Thought I would post a couple pictures of the some of my work on the British R1155 receiver. There is a before picture after the stupid three headed leaky capacitors were removed and the same location after modern mylar capacitors were installed to replace them. After I get the audio, AVC and IF all up and working correctly will move on to the RF/Mixer stage. Once all that is complete will move on to attempting to get all the ADF stuff working.

Interesting foot note! C-93 the 4uf B+ filter, the big retinacular can was good in both capacity and leakage! Unlike most of the others that have high leakage. Have to look at the C1/92/94 block tonight being that’s the B- and Filament bypass but thinking that can be allowed some leakage to at least keep the two big box capacitors in the set.
