Wonder what the possibility would be of doing a “Broadcast” type announcement and distributing it to a couple of the key stations before the net? NCS can at some point play the file during the net. Before anyone pisses and moans about
this being a one way communications or similar to broadcasting, or being retransmission of third party traffic I think it can be simply a type of bulletin text with information being of interest to operators of obsolete military technology (850Hz RTTY) and
in that way be just as legal as any of the ARRL bulletins.
What the hell, back in the days of packet use to do third party stuff, list of things for sale and everything else, hard to imagine back thirty years doing 1200 baud packet that many years from that point would de evolve to the point of
running mechanical teleprinters and 45.5 baud!
The mechanics for doing this can be sending a email to the two NCS and having them punch a paper tape and at some point during the net they would play it. I know this all exist with web pages, tweets and everything else but don’t care,
nothing beats watching the teletype machine sitting there and spiting out a long message.
