No problem, shift 850, mark 1575 put the radio in USB and you can use VOX to start with but beware that when you use VOX to control the transmitter it will key every time the computer makes a noise. That’s where the serial control comes in. Most every computer I have used it with had no issues with interfacing the audio, get it to work in receive first and then connect up transmit. The biggest issue today is that so much of the new hardware wants to do B Tooth and dose not have regular analog audio in and out.

Think ARRL has a regular schedule bulletin on 7.095 but its 170 Hz shift and you can always hear us on 7.087 every Saturday at nine.

East coast RATT net Saturday 0900 eastern 7087 USB.

Or use KPH SDR for the west coast net at 0930 Pacific.

Or I can sched most any time.

I have used MITTY 1.68 on a Panasonic Toughbook for some time now, uses the regular PC audio card, the RTS for controlling the transmitter and will do any shift including 850 Hz. That’s the set up I use for running RTTY from the mutt with the 106 like at Gilbert.

It’s a free ware program and can be easily set up and used. I am using it in the field running an old laptop and windows XP.
