          I am reviving a National GRR-17 and my current potential source of information is unfortunately suffering medical issues.

In the meantime, I’ll cast my net wider and ask if there is anyone out there who can provide advice/guidance.

On arrival it only worked on 2Mc, 10-12Mc and 20-22Mc. Inspection showed that the polyurethane drive belt

for the Mc selection had deteriorated over time and stripped its teeth ( this is apparently a very common problem ).

While operating on the above frequencies,sensitivity was good and all the ancilliary functions performed normally.

So it appears I have been lucky in that respect.

I have acquired some new drive belts but have been unable to work out how to install one with the multi selection wafer

switch position having been altered.

Can anyone help? incidentally, I have 8 brand new drive belts for sale to any owner having the same issue.
