The URC-4 is a great set , fairly easy to convert to 144 Mcs, a grid dip meter makes it easier.  There are lots of dead BA 1315 bats  around - take tin snips and open up the case.  Be sure and insulate  the BA 1315 interior as the case is at radio ground. Conversion info is in Surplus Manual VOL III (Blue Cover)

Forgot to mention, the URC-4 has both 121.5 VHF and 243.0 UHF guard channels.. Unit has a deployable dipole antenna.  Batteries are unobtanium but easily reproduced with alkalines.

I'm not sure what I have here. Any help would be appreciated. Do they have any value?
