As Nick said 40m was a Mess! I had good print on Ray KA3EKH, Ron K3TZJ, and Ken KD2GFM,
Poor print on Nick, band would just totally drop out then come back some, then Drop Again!
Hope to see many of younat Dayton Next week!

Hi Mark. The band was a mess and I fell down as net control with flaky audio lines.
Jeff W1AEA in VT was poor copy here so the ionosphere just wasn’t working too good.

Waited all week to live fire the MITE only to be defeated by poor signals this morning. I did copy two call signs, KD2GFM and K4WB and a reference to "RAY".
I like the fact that the Mite does not waste paper like the 74B did, it would just go on and on printing garbage, on the other hand the Mite will print over the same line if it doesn't see the command to return so I had to manual line feed a few times.
Still fun seeing the Mite operate.
