Hello everyone,

Name here is Mike from Tucson, Arizona.

I have a 1976 Pinzgaier 710K radio truck and have always wanted to put actual mil radios in it.

The authentic period correct radio set was a VRC-12 with two RT-524's and a single R-442.

I do own some VIC-12 components (AM-1780, a few 2298's and several cables and headsets 

I'm an amateur radio guy who would like to be able to work the lower HF bands while camping in the Pinz.

The 524 only gives me six meters.
