Very nice. Good idea on the terminal strip. I do this regularly. And this is the best solution for getting cables with large connectors through walls. Cut the cable, move it through the wall and then reconnect both halves using a terminal strip as the interface.

Unable to locate a service cable so like the GRC-19 cable I decided to build my own.  I used the same CX-4722 cable and purchased a connector on eBay.  I terminated the connections on a terminal strip for now to make testing easier, will construct an enclosure similar to the original later on.  For some bling I added a shrink on label.
