I have set up before in the section in front of the MVPA Vehicles. Also, you can set up anywhere around the Howell building where the MRCA will be. I will have NCS at Beltsville State Park about fifteen miles west of Gilbert for the activity at Beltsville park. But it's not uncommon for at least a couple stations stay back at the event.
5403.5 USB at 1400 local will be the main event, but we will also have nets on 3885 and 3570 for AM and CW opps. 51.0 FM will be the "Tactical Broadcast Network" for announcing nets, times and the like. We may also have broadcast on 51.0 retransmitted on 146.52
Many non-planed and spontaneous nets and opps pop up Friday night like the local 144.25 AM URC-4 Net at the Howell building or the "Black Dog" 220 AM Net.
And last but not least Saturday morning will be the MMRCG RAT Net on 7087 and USB voice on 7296

Subject: [MRCA] Gilbert PA

I’m planning on being at Gilbert for the event on Friday. I wanted to ask if there is any restrictions on setting up an HF station out where the military vehicles park but away them? I was going to setup my PRC 132 and I was going to setup my PRC 47 whip antenna to use with it. I built a mount and counterpoise system for the antenna.
I was hoping to use the setup to check into the nets that might setup. This would be a quick setup and tear down.
Is there a plan for the net frequencies for the Event?
Thanks
Mike
