[MRCA] BC-348 receivers on Ebay

For whatever it may be worth, I see on EBAY more BC-348 receivers than ever before.  I assume its a sign of the times.  Condition ranges from fair to ratty.  Prices would be OK if one knew the actual condition, e.g.: recap or not, etc..  The J, N, and Q models seem to bear up better that the others and tubes for them are a bit easier to find.  I see but one DM-28 dynamotor listed.  If I'd only known back in 1959!!  I still use two '348s here and both exhibit 1uv sensitivity on the lower bands.  I have little success in using them on the LF bands, however.  QRM crud devastating.  Anyway... just a thought.  Did any one in this area go to Howard County (MD) fest yesterday?
