I have found that the best speaker cone cement, bar none, is butyl rubber
aircraft tank sealant. Ask your friendly A-P mechanic if he has a leftover
kit, and scrounge it, Put it in the freezer if you dont use all of the kit.
I like to use B1-2, which gives ½ hour working time and an 8-hour cure time.

On the other hand... rubber cement can work if most of the edges of the cone
and rim meet and can be bridged with the cement.

Been there... done that. Rather than try and repair the code, you might
simply use a new speaker that can be made to fit and such that the front
panel screw holes can be filled. It might even sound better. the xformer
will be fine.

You can re-cone the speaker as long as the coil and center tube are good.
There is plenty of advice, guidance from from the Audio segment. I did a
re-cone job on and LS-3, which still works.
Good luck.

While I'm waiting for the black wrinkle paint to arrive I would like to try
and repair the speaker. You can see the speaker "cloth" has torn away all
the way around the outside and partially in the center. I am looking for
any repair advice.
Thanks
