It's the final warning, I will be on the road all day tomorrow and not get there until late in the day and then have to deal with setting up the tent and all that sort of stuff so you won't have to see any of my post until after the event. For people at home who want to take part in this year's field exercise on Friday the 5357 USB Net will be starting at two local, NCS (KA3EKH) will call the net and we will be taking check ins from the portable and backpack stations first and after that I will call for distant stations. Although this is a backpack mobile themed net its always good to have distant stations take part to discover just how far you can go with limited equipment and antennas. NCS will be running a GRC-106 into an inverted V at the boat ramp, see the attached map. At three fifteen will be the 3885 AM/USB + carrier Net. Going to try just using the fourteen-foot vertical on the mutt and the Sunair ten-watt transceiver for NCS and see how that works out. And at four fifteen will be the Slow Speed CW Net on 3570
Attached are two PDF files, of the map and another of the frequencies and times.
As always, be there or be square, but if you can't be there try being part of the seen by taking part in the sixty-meter net on Friday.
