Hi Ray - Sounds like the J-654/G would work for you - I think that's what
it was designed to do, handset AND speaker.
The PRC-47 AF output will break your windows but I think the adapter is
just a dumb "TEE", probably a 3db-ish loss. But with the PRC-47 no
problem, I've also used it with the VRC-7/RT-70 in the truck. I don't know
about the GRC-106 AF output capability.
I have run the adapter in the Bronco - a handset at the driver's seat and
another on the tailgate position for fixed-portable Ops, using a common
LS-166. works fine. I did not pay a lot of attention to any added AF
distortion but it sounds very useable to me...
Should be fun to try!
