Hello Net Participants and Friends:
The MMRCG 51.0 MHz Cold War FM Net was activated at 14:00 Hours EDT this Saturday May 18, 2024, at the Dayton Hamvention.
This year the Net Control Station Duties were shared between me, Jim Karlow KA8TUR and Steve Johnston WD8DAS
The purpose of this net was to communicate using the Cold War era military low band FM Radios, including both US and non-US sets. Other compatible radios were also welcomed.
A final call for Joe Munson WA4VAG, a Founding Member of MMRCG was also made.
Attached please find the log for the net, as well as a couple of pictures of the participants that gathered afterwards.
Many thanks to all participants for making this net a great experience!
