[MRCA] M&S net condx?

I don't know what it is. Different locations, different radios and antennas, and still sixty meters is not good to the north. On a good day maybe can faintly hear NCS on that net but the majority of time don't. I was over I Delaware yesterday operating from the mutt and ran the RTTY Net without issues on forty, did listen on 7295 but there was already a group occupying that channel and did not feel like asking them to QSY and around noon did try 5357 but was just using the fourteen foot vertical on the mutt and did hear something week probably N2MS but nothing else.
A couple of years back 60 meters was strong into Maryland from the north but not in the last year or so. Can work stations in PA and NJ without issues but that's about it.
Will keep trying, know I can work them from Gilbert in September.

Propagation was poor but I've heard worse.
Working 20 watts portable from Sandy Hook. Net control KK1K was 54. He heard 75% of my conversation. Heard other membeurs R3 to R5.

Heard KA3EKH calling but he did not hear me.

Very low noise conditions at beach, much lower than at home. That is the trick when propagation poor.

Tried to get onto the M&S net today. But absolutely nothing heard. Is it just me or are the band conditions bad?

I also tried the 7087 RATT net but it seems two of my 3 antennas might be dead. Could only listen using a 60m end-fed antenna.
