Very cool setup Mark! Envious!
I found that my PRC-47 with the CV-2455 RATT converter (as you are also
using in the jeep) produces a useful RATT system but the transmitter spurs
are pretty bad. I stopped using it after I looked at the waterfall display
of the transmitted signal on the air. With the 400 hz PS whine and
harmonics coupled with mark/space tone harmonics getting past the 500 cps
filter the resulting signal is pretty "ratty" looking on mine. I need to
continue diving into that problem with this system. I wonder if you have
looked at your signal spectrum-wise. Hopefully it is cleaner than mine..
