[MRCA] DTCS RO Tactical Radio Inquiry

I purchased 3 of these radio's recently at the Nearfest ham radio show in
NH, 2 are complete and appear to be working, one is a parts radio, missing
the antenna and a broken on/off switch.  It appears they were designed to
operate using commercial satellite subscription service for DoD using the
Iridium satellite array.  I am asking if anyone is or knows of someone
familiar with these specific radio's to see if perhaps it is possible to
program them for LOS radio to radio use ?  They would make a great display
at an event, even more so if you could talk radio to radio.
