[MRCA] Tadiran / Tobyhanna?

I remember many years ago Walt Hutchins KJ4KV commented in his Electric Radio in Uniform something about  Tadiran manufacturing  PRC-25 squad VHF radios. I assume they did so for IDF use or perhaps for sale to other countries.  Would the
US have procured PRC-25 and possibly other sets for this country from them at some point?
