Just came across the series of excellent videos put out by the USS COD museum submarine group in Cleveland.  The one above features the wardroom RBO receiver, which has been beautifully restored and is fully operational.

Afterwards, check out their video “War is Hell and Sometimes Smells Bad”.  Very funny.  Involves a creative use of a Megger by some highly motivated EMs.
