Hello all,
Hope this isn't too off topic… it concerns a military radio but it isn't hollow-state or olive drab. I am restoring a RF Harris RF-350K/RT-1446 transceiver that was DEMIL'ed by cutting the power cable between the power supply and transceiver and yanking the bat and threaded collar out of the front panel's on/off switch.
I've got the radio working but am in need of a replacement power switch. It's a straight forward 4PDT mini-toggle with one odd exception, the bat and collar are oversize to fit a standard 1/2" mounting hole. Only one side is used, so a 4PST would work, there's not enough room on the inside for a full size switch. I may need to resort to using a bushing but would like to find the correct switch if possible which is only rated at 3A. Checked Mouser, DigiKey and eBay but couldn't find anything for a 1/2" panel hole.
Could also use an MS3106A20-8S 6-pin female plug and mating in-line male socket to make a power extension cable if anyone has some laying around. I emailed Bill Perry on 12/6 but haven't heard back.
Thanks and happy holidays to all.
