No way.  Nine pin miniature tubes and construction say mid-fifties, early fifties maybe. Looks like period RCA two way strips.

Contract date looks like 1936 and looks like a sailor toting it around.
I guess you had to be fit to use it.

Appears smaller than PRC-47.
