Hello all

I arrived at NEAR Fest Friday at ~1100 with SC0UT. I figured the sooner
we arrived, the longer we could stand in the rain, so delayed it. I
managed to get some spares for the MSC-37 comm shelter including a
LS-166 speaker, antenna base, hand microphone, and GRC-106 power cable.
I also got a WW-2 packboard in case I want to hike up Mt Washington with
my GRC-106. ;-) The weather cleared enough to make the latter half of
the day ok, but worked on my trench foot with all the mini ponds in the
lower field. SC0UT was a hit, as usual. Hard to not like all the
wrinkles and flappy face. I did manage to check in to the M & S net from
the HMS Doghair (Subaru) when leaving Saturday. Not as big a turnout due
to the weather. Better luck in the spring
