Ray,

I regularly call into the 60 meter net. Propagation was fair over the summer but has been getting better this autumn.

The net participants usually range from Maine down to NJ and Pennsylvania. I am usually the southernmost station in NJ. Can you listen to see which stations you can pick up to determine if the band is long or short?
Net controllers are usually in VT and NH but occasionally KG2GSM is controller form upstate NY.

How is your noise level? I did lots of operation from Sandy Hook this summer and I did not realize how high my noise level is at he home station
until I experienced the low noise level away from town.
