[MRCA] Memorial Day Weekend.

While it was mostly just wet, the  first day of the Memorial Day Weekend event at FDR went better that expected, the exception being the reaction the crowd seemed to have to the WW2 Russian reenactors there. Honestly, I think WW2 German or Japanese reenactors would have been better received. I think it will be interesting what uniforms the folks doing Russian will show up in tomorrow. There were folks doing a USO shtick there, some vehicles and other Home front displays.  We even had somebody doing an Eleanor  Roosevelt impersonation ( not bad, either. Even sounded like her. And no, it wasn’t Walter Matthau doing his Eleanor shtick from the movie “ Hopscotch “.
