[MRCA] Communications Associates, Inc. Radios

Does anyone have any information or documentation on Communications Associates, Inc. (CAI) radios such as the CA-35 transceiver? They were manufactured at Huntington Station, NY.  One of my Elmers worked there and showed me a radio. The technology impressed my as a college student studying frequency synthesis.

The only information I could find was in the personal history of Dick Singer, K6KSG. He was a Radio Operator on the Glomar Explorer and used the radios. His interesting story can be found here:
