Hi Mark,

I’m surprised you copied me but that is good to hear so thank you.

I was trying out my 8o Meter ‘B’ doublet, which is about 35 degrees off azimuth from my regular ‘A’ doublet. I was simply trying to find out if anyone could hear me any better.

We had five participants on the RATT Net today until some moron with a computer started a non-stop transmission on our frequency without bothering to see if the frequency was in use. The interference wiped out Ron and Jeff and I and probably Nick also.

I will copy you on an e-mail I just sent the group suggesting we come up with an alternate frequency for such circumstances as this is not the first time but was definitely the worst.

73,

Ken

I only copied traffic from KD2GFM something about an antenna and that was right at the beginning, after that there were no signals at all, I put my call sign out a couple of times. Equipment: Mite, GRC-106, MD-522/A.
