Yes the mic has a element, I checked it and it is dynamic. It must be some sort of crew station microphone as it has a IC/Radio switch. Also has what looks like a MFP stamp. The rubber section has tubes leading to the outside which I assume is for noise cancellation. 3 photos attached.
