[MRCA] Does anyone know anything about this receiver?

Can anyone tell me anything about a Scientific Radio Systems Inc model
SR-501 receiver?

 

It came home with me from NEARfest for no money and I am curious to know
what it does.

 

I have looked around and can find nothing on it and it does not have an NSN
number.
