[MRCA] Able Archer 83 2021 edition

Just a reminder that November Sixth and seventh 2021 are this year’s dates for operation able archer 83 special event station W3A.

Ray KA3EKH,  Has again secured The Fort Miles site in cape Henlopen seashore state park Delaware.   Although it did not directly play a part in able archer  83 it was a pivotal Cold War installation.  Fort miles buildings were Known as NAVFAC naval facilities Lewes And was home to a sinus submarine relay station.    It’s silently stood watch listening for Soviet boomers transiting the Atlantic.
