[MRCA] Microphone Photos attch

WRT the triangular orange stamp on the microphone, the “SC” most likely stands for Signal Corps and the stamping was generally known as a QA or QC stamp.  And it was probably Army as the Navy usually used black or white ink..  The” 54” identifies to whom the stamp was issued.  Although such records were usually only kept for a relatively short period of time.  And if you did find any such records, you would have to know when the item was inspected in order to determine who inspected it.  Because the stamps belonged to the unit and whenever the incumbent got discharged, transferred, killed or promoted out of the billet, the stamp usually went to his/her replacement.  About the only conclusion that can be drawn from the stamp at this late date is that it probably dates from 1948 or before because Lemay hated the Signal Corps almost as much as he hated the Army. J  Also, an MFP stamp would usually say “MFP” and usually included the date.

Yes the mic has a element, I checked it and it is dynamic. It must be some sort of crew station microphone as it has a IC/Radio switch. Also has what looks like a MFP stamp. The rubber section has tubes leading to the outside which I assume is for noise cancellation.
