It took years of looking for me to complete and get my SCR-274-N (two transmitters, three receivers) working. At this late stage, 80 years after WW2 ended, that is the only way to get any 80 year old radio set other than perhaps a BC-611 put together and completed. That has been my experience, and I've been collecting WW2 military radios for over 30 years. There is no cheap or easy way to do this anymore, period. It takes time and perseverance. It sounds like you need most of the radio set. Which set are you putting together - a USAAF SCR-274-N or a US Navy ARC-5? There are differences that make some components non-compatible between the two types, so you need to pick which type you are doing. There is also a lot of radios seen for sale that have been modified to the point where they are not usable even as a non-working display model anymore. Get the operators manuals for the type of radio set you decide to put together. That way, you don't waste time or money getting parts you can't use. Looking at your request list, it sounds like you haven't really decided which set type you're going to put together. Keep looking at online auctions, flea markets, HAM radio meets, military vehicle meets, and in chat groups like this one. Good luck. Mark D.WW2RDO "Clothes make the man.
