Are you talking about the M-6/UR microphone element, Mark? If so, be
aware that there were later aircraft boom mikes that have identical
snap-in carbon elements that are more stable. The ones I have used in
my H-46/UR headsets are labeled M-51/UR and CW-292/U. It appears they
aren't expensive -
